Privacy Policy
Last updated November 6, 2026
RC Strategies ("RC Strat," "we," or "us") runs rcstrat.com and advertises its marketing and communications services to organizations. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, forms, email, and advertising, how we use it, who receives it, and the choices you have. It is written for visitors in the United States.
Information we collect
We collect information in four ways.
- Information you give us. When you fill out a form, download a resource, subscribe, or write to us, you may share your name, work email, phone number, organization, job title, and the contents of your message.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit rcstrat.com, cookies and similar technologies record your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site or ad that sent you, your approximate location, and the date and time of your visit.
- Information from advertising platforms. If you submit a lead form on an ad platform such as LinkedIn, the platform passes us what you submitted.
- Business contact information from public sources and business data providers, such as a name, work email, job title, and organization, which we use to reach organizations that may benefit from our services.
In the terms used by California and other state laws, this covers identifiers, contact and professional information, internet activity, and approximate location. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information through this site, and we ask that you not send them.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and send the resources you request.
- To provide and manage our services and our relationship with you.
- To contact business prospects about our services, with a way to opt out in every email.
- To measure how our website and ads perform, show our ads to relevant audiences, and see which ads lead to inquiries.
- To protect our site, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
Cookies and advertising technology
We use Google Tag Manager to run analytics and advertising tags on our site, including the LinkedIn Insight Tag and a StackAdapt pixel. These tools use cookies and pixels to count visits, recognize that you arrived from one of our ads, and show our ads to you on other sites and platforms. The companies behind them receive information such as your IP address, device details, and the pages you view. When you submit a form, they may also receive an encrypted (hashed) version of your email address so they can match the submission to an ad. Each company handles that information under its own privacy policy.
You can limit this tracking by changing your browser's cookie settings, adjusting your ad preferences on LinkedIn, or using the opt-out tools at optout.networkadvertising.org and optout.aboutads.info. Our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with service providers that help us run our business, including website hosting, form handling, email delivery, customer relationship management, analytics, and advertising platforms. They may use it only to perform services for us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business.
Some state laws treat advertising cookies as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. If you want to opt out, see Your privacy choices below.
Work we do for clients
When we run campaigns or build landing pages for clients, the information people submit there is collected for the client and is covered by the client's privacy policy. We handle it on the client's behalf and only to deliver our services. Send requests about that information to the client directly.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and lead information for up to 36 months after our last contact with you, then delete it or remove what identifies you. If you become a client or vendor, we keep business records for the length of the relationship and for the period tax, accounting, and legal rules require, generally up to seven years. Analytics and advertising data stays in those tools for the period set in each tool's retention settings.
Your privacy choices
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, and many other states have rights over their personal information. We offer these choices to every visitor in the United States, whatever state you live in:
- Ask what personal information we have about you and get a copy.
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Opt out of targeted advertising and of any sale or sharing of your information.
- Unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in the message. We act on unsubscribe requests promptly and within 10 business days.
To make a request, email hello@rcstrat.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" (or "Opt Out" for advertising). We may ask you to confirm your identity by replying from the email address involved. We respond within 45 days and tell you if we need more time. You can use an authorized agent to make a request for you. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying with "Appeal" in the subject line, and we will answer within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising these choices.
Children
Our site is for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security and other websites
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections and limited access to the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires. Our site links to other websites, and their privacy practices are their own.
Changes to this policy
When we update this policy, we change the date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will also give notice on our site or by email.
